Since our founding in 2001, the Laher Law Firm has made its mark among criminal law firms in Mississippi. We are dedicated to the representation and vigorous defense of people that have been accused of committing crimes. Rob Laher, our founder and main criminal defense lawyer, fully immerses himself in every case, digging until he finds the reason behind the charges, and devoting his energies to explaining, in vivid detail, the facts and circumstances to the jury and getting the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Currently, our offices are located in Corinth and Tupelo, Mississippi. Having two separate locations allows us to help people in Northeast Mississippi and Southwestern Tennessee.

Private Courtroom

In criminal defense, uncovering all relevant information and presenting a complete story, explained in vivid detail, to the jury is critical to a juror's understand the facts and circumstances underlying criminal charges. After all, if your attorney doesn't dig until all relevant information is found or fails to effectively present that information to the jury, the jury won't uncover information relevant to your case on its own. That's why we maintain a private courtroom within our Tupelo office building. This resource allows us to preview our cases, trying them before they are put before a jury. By doing so, we are better able to determine which part of the case needs the most attention as the actual trial date draws near.

Trying our cases before they actually go to court is a concept developed in athletic competition as well as lessons learned through the education process. Criminal law attorneys, just like students or athletes, become better through practice. Our courtroom allows us to "practice" before the actual trial so we can perform our best.

By keeping up with the current state of criminal law, we are better able to defend and represent our clients and take advantage of any late breaking changes in criminal law.

To provide this accessibility, we provide our clients with after-hours and cellular telephone numbers so we can be reached any time. We also regularly schedule meetings and appointments on weekends or after regular business hours as a convenience for our clients.
